The men’s way to the medals
Number 1
and number 2 from each group in the group play are going to the quarterfinals.
Quarterfinal
1: Nr 1 from group
1 is playing against nr. 2 from group 2
Quarterfinal
2: Nr 1 from group
2 is playing against nr. 2 from group 3
Quarterfinal
3: Nr 1 from group
3 is playing against nr. 2 from group 4
Quarterfinal
4: Nr 1 from group
4 is playing against nr. 2 from group 1
The four
winners from each of the quarterfinals are going to the semi finals.
Semi
final 1: Winner
from quarter finale 1 against winner from quarter finale 2

The winner
of the two semi finals is going to the finals (game for gold and silver).
Bronze
game
The two
losers of the two semi finals are playing for bronze and fourth place.
The women’s way
to the medals
Nr. 1 from
each of the tree groups is going directly to the semi finals.
Quarterfinals
The
quarterfinals are a new group play, based on the tree number two from each of
the tree groups.
In the
quarterfinals all plays against each other.
The winner
of the quarter finale games is going to the semi finals.
Semi
final 1: Nr 1 from
group 1 against nr. 1 from group 2
Semi
final 2: Nr 1 from
group 3 against the winner from the quarterfinals.
The winner
of the two semi finals is going to the finals (game for gold and silver).
Bronze
game
(Except women’s
quarter finale because it is a quarterfinal based on a group play).
In the
quarterfinals, semi finals, bronze games and finals there have to be found a
winner within the games.
If no
winner within the normal game time is found. The game time will be extended
with one half’s of 15 min. The first goal scored within the extra time is the
winner. If now winner is found within the extra time (no goals scored). There
will be penalty shoots. First each team will be given tree shots. The team with
most goals scored after the penalty round will be the winner of the game. If
there still is no winner found, there will be one penalty shot for each team
until a winner is found.
